KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital

KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital’s (APSH) construction began in November 1993 and was handed over to the management of KPJ Healthcare Berhad in March 1995. Strategically located within easy access from Kuala Lumpur and other areas in the Klang Valley, KPJ APSH was opened to the public on 15 June 1995, and has since expanded its new block (West Wing) which began operations in January 2020. With a built-up area of 330,000 sq ft, KPJ APSH has over 250 beds and boasts a reputable team of more than 80 resident, sessional, and visiting medical consultants who are experts in their specialised fields. The hospital is supported by more than 800 staff, comprising dedicated nursing, medical and non-medical staff. KPJ APSH is fully accredited by the Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) and is the first private hospital to achieve full accreditation status in 2000. KPJ APSH has managed to keep its accreditation for the seventh consecutive four-year term, 2020–2024.
