KPJ Pahang Specialist Hospital (KPJ Pahang) is the second addition to KPJ Healthcare’s East Coast region hospitals. Nestled in the new commercial hub of Tanjung Lumpur, roughly 1.5 kilometers from Kuantan town centre, KPJ Pahang serves with dedication for the residents in Kuantan and its neighbouring states, operating in a 123-bedded facility with close to 50 specialist consultants, offering personalised healthcare services to the community. Its staff strength stands at over 400 employees supported by medical services provided by 30 resident medical and surgical Consultants specialising in various disciplines incluidng Anaesthesiology, Cardiology, ENT, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurosurgy, O&G, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics and Radiology. To support the consultant practice, KPJ Pahang is also equipped with facilities such as Pharmacy, Laboratory, Cathlab / Angiogram, 64 Slice CT Scanner, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammogram (Stereotactic Biopsy), General X-Ray, Dialysis, Operating Theatre, Accident & Emergency Unit (24 hours), Physiotherapy, ICU/CCU.
